Anat Baniel Method® NeuroMovement® is a holistic approach that recognizes the potential for improvement in every individual.
We are living in an amazing time where brain change is a forefront in therapy. We now know that positive brain plasticity is actually possible with the right conditions. ABM creates the conditions for the new neural connections to be formed. Neuroscientists also know that adults have the ability to remap, restructure, and improve their brains, as they continue to age.
Creating A Connection Between Mind and Body to Improve Health
ABM NeuroMovement is built on the idea that the brain is a highly dynamic, self-organizing system. If the brain can get the information it needs, and organize that information, it will be able to upgrade the whole system’s functioning. So, if we improve and enhance the organization of movement, the brain will also upgrade.
Why choose ABM NeuroMovemen®?
ABM NeuroMovement uses the connection of brain and body as the foundation for growth, recovery and development. Working with the brain directly allows for dramatic changes in how movement is orchestrated in the body. At the same time the nervous system, sensations, cognition and emotional states can be enhanced. I personally am a healthy individual and I have experienced massive improvements in my physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being. I’m happier and have decreased anxiety. I’m more aware of my mind and body and more fluid and efficient in my movement.

One on One Intensives: 45 minutes in length - adult Intensive (5-10 lesson).
Intensive: This is a grouping of lessons designed to give you the best results in the shortest period of time. Intensives are conducted as a series of 5 to 10 sessions completed within a 2 week time period.
The quick turnaround of these sessions provides you with a reduction in pain while improving your functional everyday movement.
In a One on One lesson, the practitioner will work together with you to create a specific individual plan to address your current needs and goals. In private lessons, the practitioner uses precise yet gentle movements and verbal instructions to guide the student to become aware of new possibilities in their movement, thoughts and emotions.
Gentle and light movement is used to help the client discover new, easier, and more efficient ways to move that help you to eliminate pain, transcend limitations and reach higher levels of performance.
Sessions are conducted with the client fully clothed, sitting, standing or reclining on a specially designed table.
Each Session within an Intensive is 45 min in length. It is a process to move away from pain or limitations. One of my main reasons I require 3 lessons minimum is, I want you to really get a feel for what the work can do.
Group Lessons: 45 minutes in length -
Each Group Lesson centers around a specific function or movement skill eg: twisting, bending, balancing, standing up, rolling, etc. and the lessons build on one another to bring about profound improvements in flexibility and coordination.
In these Group Lessons, I will be verbally guiding you. These lessons are gentle, safe and easy to follow, yet the outcomes can be dramatic. As the practitioner guides the class through a sequence of movements, students move slowly, gently and with attention (basically using all the 9 essentials as needed). These classes are recommended for all! We can all upgrade our brain to help us move and feel better.
The exercises are structured and taught in such a way that people of all ages and abilities can participate and learn at their own pace.
